Headquartered in Traverse City,
Michigan, Hagerty Insurance started out as a general lines insurance agency
around 40 years ago. While insurance was our business, wooden boats and
collector cars were our passion. We saw a need for specialty insurance and
in 1983 launched a revolutionary Agreed Value policy for classic boat owners.
It was such a success that in 1991, we launched specialty insurance for
collector car owners and today, we're the leading insurance agency for collector
cars and boats in the United States. We also offer the Hagerty Protection
Network, which is the largest and most proactive community of collector car
enthusiasts in the country with more than 175,000 members.
As collectors, we know firsthand
what car and boat enthusiasts want in an insurance company and what they need to
protect their investment. That's why we provide very cool benefits, including
low premiums, relaxed restrictions and permissive use, in-house claims, 24/7
